It’s only 12 minutes’ walk from the closest gondola lift, 10 minutes on foot from the Gornergrat alpine railway with views of the Matterhorn. THE OMNIA is the contemporary interpretation of the traditional mountain lodge, designed by the New York based architect Ali Tayar (1959 – 2016).
No room is identical to the others. They vary in layout and sizes, ranging from Queen Size rooms (24m2) to Double Deluxe rooms (45m2), the Suites (70m2), the Tower Suites (90m2) and, finally, the OMNIA Roof Suite (110m2).
Featuring balconies, the modern rooms come with Wi-Fi, flat-screens and minibars. Suites offer living rooms with sofas. Upgraded suites add whirlpool tubs, fireplaces, saunas and/or bay windows. There’s 24-hour room service.
Amenities include breakfast, plus a renowned, contemporary restaurant that has a fireplace, a terrace with mountain views, and a cozy bar. A spa features an indoor/outdoor pool, a sauna and an open-air hot tub.
