Méribel is a ski resort in the Tarentaise Valley in the French Alps. Méribel refers to three neighbouring villages in the Les Allues commune of the Savoie department of France, near the town of Moûtiers, called Méribel Centre, Méribel-Mottaret and Méribel Village.

Méribel is home to some fantastic restaurants serving a variety of dishes; from traditional Savoyard classics through to pizzas, and fine dining options, there is something to suit most tastes.
Méribel offers a varied and lively nightlife with loud British pubs with live music, and dancing on tables, and popular nightclubs open until the early hours.
Méribel boasts a diverse range of stores, guaranteed to suit all tastes and lifestyles.
The closest airport to Méribel is Chambery, a one hour and 20 minutes drive away, however Geneva airport has more regular flights and is just over two hours from Méribel.
With its 600 km of ski slopes, the Méribel ski area is not only for very experienced skiers but is designed for expert skiers as well as beginners.
It has in the region of 45 ski lifts giving access to ski terrain ranging from 1,100m to 2,952m altitude and approximately 150km of pistes (see the piste maps). This ski area is varied with plenty to keep all levels of skier and snowboarder occupied.
