With a choice of over 90 restaurants, there are plenty of options for you to choose from in Crans Montana. From fine dining and a variety of international cuisine choices including Chinese, Thai, Lebanese, Italian and of course traditional Swiss, to casual pubs and bars serving snacks.
Some 120 shops and boutiques which should more than satisfy those shopping addicts among you. The Rue du Prado houses several of the top luxury fashion brands, if that’s not enough, you can stroll past the jewellery stores, sporting shops and local Swiss alpine stores throughout the centre of town.
Crans Montana is easily reached by car from Geneva airport, in around two and a half hours. Sion airport is even closer if you are flying private. You can also get the train to Sierre, then take the funicular railway from Sierre to Montana Gare.
With an altitude that ranges from 1,500 to 3,000 metres, the Crans-Montana ski area offers 140 kilometres of south-facing marked pistes, with breathtaking views over the stunning surrounding alpine countryside. With pistes suitable for all levels, which stretch from the mountaintops which tower above the Plaine-Morte Glacier to the golf course on the ‘Haut-Plateau’ below, via the snowpark and its superb snowpipe, the ski area is varied and promises unforgettable days skiing.
